Adventist Education

About

P

ort Macquarie Adventist School (PMAS) is owned and operated by Seventh-day Adventist Schools (NNSW) Ltd; a member of Adventist Schools Australia.

Adventist Schools Australia operates forty-eight schools and caters to more than 11,600 students, which provides a network of resources to give each child an education of the highest quality in an ideal Christian learning environment.

Adventist education is built on the belief that each student is unique and of immeasurable worth. It values the importance of systematic development of the whole person. Students are taught to accept the concept of service as a principle of life; to be sensitive to the needs of people, and to become contributing members of their community.

At the heart of Adventist education is a belief that children achieve true growth when their mental, physical and spiritual needs are met. PMAS upholds these beliefs and, with enviable teacher-to-student ratios, provides a nurturing and caring learning environment where Christian values are promoted.

Students and their families are welcome to come and worship with us and our local Adventist community at any time.

Mission & Values

Learning should not be a discrete and separate experience for students; one disconnected from their everyday lives, rather, it should be integrated, aligned and embedded in what their life looks like for them today, and importantly, what it may yet be tomorrow.

The Port Macquarie Seventh-Day Adventist Church is located in the beachside town of Port Macquarie, on the New South Wales Mid North coast of Australia. It welcomes people of all faiths and cultural backgrounds to join them for worship and social connection.

Our teaching and faith value the family and promote respect for others and ourselves. Whether your child is an Adventist or follows another faith, we expect that these values and principles will be upheld within our school and request a high standard of conduct both within and outside the school.

As a Christian organisation we do devote time to worship and learning about God and the Bible. Your child will receive Religious Studies classes, hear regular Bible stories, and will be involved in a weekly chapel service. Worship is a core component of education at PMAS, and all students are encouraged to have a relationship with Jesus. Through our worship and chapel programs, we aim to help the families at our schools raise responsible, mature, and well-rounded children with a balance in their lives.

Adventist Church

Our local church brings everyone together – including kids, teens and youth. Starting at 11:15 am every Saturday, it is a time for singing, prayer, a children’s story, and then followed by inspiring and practical Bible based messages, shared by our local and visiting pastors.
